The Djaha Family Foundation was created from a deep belief that when young African women are equipped with opportunity, support, and recognition, they become powerful catalysts for progress.

Throughout my life, I have witnessed the brilliance and resilience of young women and men across the globe —young leaders whose leadership is often limited not by talent, but by lack of investment in their growth and well‑being.

Foundational Values

We are committed to mobilizing resources that strengthen both the leadership capacity and the mental well‑being of young women and men who are ready to shape the future of their communities. Leadership is a pathway to influence and dignity, and mental health is the foundation that allows every young leader to rise, persist, and thrive.

By investing in these pillars, we are nurturing a generation of young leaders who will transform their communities and beyond.

This work is also deeply personal. It is a tribute to the women who shaped my journey, a commitment to the next generation of changemakers, and a legacy I am building for my children—so they grow up understanding the power of humility and service, the importance of equity, and the responsibility we all share to expand opportunity for others.
